The details in the background are also rather drool-worthy
I do have on critique, and I hope you don't mind: but the dromaeosaur's eye looks rather flat: almost as though it's popping out of the skull rather than set into it. I think this might be due to the very strong highlight on the top of the eye, as well as the type of shading on the surrounding areas (which show wonderful feather detail, but it seems to lack a little bit of the form of the skull). I hope you don't take offense to the critique, as I know this is a published piece and therefore you can't work on it anymore. But I hope my suggestion was helpful.
How much time were you given for this piece? It's extremely impressive nonetheless.

I used google translate on the article in your link, and apparently it translates "Deinonychosaur" to "fear claw dragon class." XD
